Okay. I got this used from GC website and it seemed like a good deal.

Aria Pro II Magna MA-15

Specs:
Body: sen (arch)
Neck: Maple (25.5 scale)
Fretboard: Rosewood
Pickups: HSS
Controls: 5-way selector, 1 Tone/Volume, coil tap for the HB
Bridge: Fender style trem
Hardware color: Black
Country of origin: Korea
Date: 93-94

For those who don't know, Sen is also referred to as Japanese ash because it looks very similar to ash, however it is more closely related to the Ivy family.

Sound:
It sounds a lot like Alder, but with more depth. When tapped the HB sounds very bright and snappy, very reminiscent of a Tele. When I have the selector in the 4th position that's when I hear a strat sound. With the full HB it still sounds bright but has a nice depth to the tone. Mid and neck positions still remain bright but just add in the warmth.
The pups have a decent output, great for blues, and can pull off metal or rock just as easily.

Build quality:
Holy hell this thing is heavy, all 9 lbs of it. I have played Les Pauls lighter than this thing. I shall name it "brick", cuz that's almost what it feels like. I could hit a Mack truck with this thing and not dent the guitar.
Everything on this guitar feels solid, and I mean incredibly solid.
Tuners stay in tune very well even with bends. The bridge seems to be well constructed and maybe even higher quality than that of a Fender trem.
Actually all the materials feel like they are higher quality than your typical MIK guitar.

Action, fit and Finish:
Frets feel perfect, no sharp edges, just like it should be. Action needs adjusting which I will be doing tonight.
The neck is a little wider, but not chunky. Very fast, sleek and smooth. Think, Kramer neck mating with an Ibanez neck.
The finish looks perfect on this guitar. The clear coat isn't too thick so it doesn't look plasticy.

The ugly truth:
This guitar (Once I get it set up) is one of the most versatile guitars I have ever played. Aria really out did themselves with the Magna MA-15. There are a few issues due to age though. The volum pot cuts out so that will need replacing and the toggle needs to be cleaned, but for what I payed I'm not complaining.

Pics.

In the end, the only question is: what bass would Jesus play?

I think he's a Fender Jazz guy.

Definitely do man. I am really surprised at the tones I get from this guitar. It's a hell of a lot better than the price tag suggested.

Congrats dude, welcome to the club! I absolutely love my Aria Pro II:

It cost me about £120 about 4 years ago and has now achieved a permanent space in my collection, I would never sell it, very underated guitars.

Mine too weighs an absolute ton!

Its an Excel series, built in Korea. Could be jap ash, I've never actually bothered to check it out. Weight wise its heavier than my all mahagony Schecter...

That looks awesome, dude. I just purchased an Aria Pro II SB-1000RI bass on several days ago and it plays like a dream, I'm a fan of Aria. Happy NGD.

Wheres your new bass day thread? I wanna see that beast and drool all over my keyboard at it.

I have noticed a few quirks with this guitar. The neck joint isn't flush with the neck. Theres a good millimeter or so of a gap on the lower side of the joint. Doesn't affect the neck though. Looks like the person sanding it used an up and down motion on the joint wall.
