Hello! My friend is re-building his les paul. He wanted pickups with more output so I traded him the gibby hums for 2 SD Invaders I had lying around. The problem is the wiring for the invaders are much too short to reach the control plate on his LP as they were originally in a strat. Is it possibly to simply solder more wire onto the pickups so they reach? Or are there any other ways to wire these pickups in. Thanks!

You can twist and solder the end of the wire to more wire, then cover with some heat shrink tubing.

You can also use crimps as well vs soldering to add extension wires. They have pretty small crimps available.
