Hey,
I want to install a bigsby bridge on my strat, but I have two questions:
1) Have any of you done this before? I looked for some kind of tut on Google, but I couldn't find one
2) Which model/ type of bigsby should I use? These seem to be my two best options:

Well, it just looks like you put a tune-o-matic bridge thing (excuse my noobness) where the stock bridge is and screw the tremolo behind it

True, but what are you going to do with the big hole in the guitar where the trem block goes? It's kinds hard to anchor a TOM post in nothing.

Now if it is a Hard tail strat go for it you wont have that issue. But if it is a strat with a trem you'll find it very difficult

That is interesting, I have never seen that before.
Looks pretty cool except I don't like the barrel style bridge saddles, they are a bitch to intonate and with a Bigsby I would want individual saddles

Why would you want to put a bigsby on a strat? You already have a trem. If you think it will stay in tune better, forget it, it won't.

It seems kind of ridiculous, but I wanna be able to pull up and down... hahaha

you are going for the wrong kind of trem...try looking for a floyd rose or double lockin type trem system

Or any floating type trem. My PRS has a floating trem it goes up and down. you can make a strat float it just requires a proper setup

Angle your strat's bridge... Thats what I do whenever I feel like de-hardtailing my strat.

Angle your strat's bridge about 1/8th inch forward, get locking tuners and an LSR roller nut.

Problem solved. It won't stay in 100% like a Floyd will, but it will be pretty damn close. Especially if you are using one of the new modern 2-point trems like on the American series.

This is terrible advice. Even worse than the useless dry, sarcastic comment I made.

Jesus Christ, I just want to put a bigsby on my strat.

well in that case go ahead but it wont be cheap or easy especially if your strat is already and has the strat style trem

itll probabaly be alot easier if it was a hard tail strat

Dont come here asking for advice and then act like a little asshole. Every one here has tried to give you good advice in several diffrent points.

No one here has said you can't do it, just that it will be a job to do it right. Also you have been given ways that you can get the type of pull up you want from a standard bridge.
