Im looking for a new axe and Im having a hard time liking anything lol...I want:

25.5 scale
24 frets
Passive Pickups that can handle metal when needed to
NO TREM
Skinny neck but wide fretboard

I used to have a DK2M that for me had the perfect neck on it but I hated the tremelo, so something with similar playability to those. if I could find a hardtail i would get it but there isnt any available near me or ebay at the moment. I was thinking maybe an Ibanez but dont know much about them.

I've had schecters but the necks were like baseball bats. LTD's necks werent wide enough I could barely fret chords with them.

new or used I dont care id like to keep it less then $800, I dont need anyone to search for me just some recommendations to try out, thanks!

Um.... Maybe work on your technique if you can chord on a neck as wide as an LTDs.

Other wise you're going to struggle to find anything that will fit what your after.

Gibson SG might fit the bill. It has the type of neck I think you are looking for. Make sure it's a real Gison though. Some Epiphones I have heard sound like ass.

Have you ever considered having your own custom made guitar from Carvin? That way you can get EXACTLY what you want. Check out their site, they have a really simple guitar builder that lets you price out how much it would cost you. I've been wanting an Ibanez S5470 Prestige because it has the fastest most comfortable neck I have ever played on a guitar but I'm now convinced I could get something with the same specs for almost half a grand cheaper from Carvin. I highly recommend it.

You'll have to replace the pickups in pretty much all Ibanez guitars in your budget, but the Prestige guitars are great after a pickup swap.

As I said before, the S5470 Prestige by Ibanez has the fastest neck I have EVER played on. The majority of S series do have tremolos but some models come with a fixed bridge. Personally besides the signature models, I think the higher end S series are the best guitars Ibanez has to offer. But like I said, some of them are in the 1500-1700 USD price range so they don't come cheap, though not as needlessly expensive as other guitars.

Sorry about that. I knew you were looking for that size, but didn't notice the Redline was 24.75" scale. Most of Godin's Strats & Superstrats are 25.5" scale...with tremolos.

Agreed with Carvin: quality axes.

In a similar vein, I own several Jon Kammerer guitars. Jon is a luthier out of Keokuk, Illinois. His standard designs would fit your criteria, except for the price: his standard designs cost $995. If you're interested in his stuff, find him on Facebook- malware killed his website.
