The man murdered innocent people (including civilians) because he got fired from his job. Hero? I think not.

I dont necessarily think that people believe he's a hero. I think people are impressed by the fact that he stood up for a good cause (corruption in police forces), even though he did it in a bad way.

Well nothing was going to get solved by putting a hashtag at the end of it. But regardless, the battle on police corruption doesn't need innocent civilians as cannon fodder.

In retaliation, the police killed just as many innocent civilians as Dorner. That's what sticks out to me about this case. I don't praise Dorner, but pigs will be pigs...and that's sad

The police didn't kill any civilians but you're right about it being sketchy at how much it seems they wanted him killed, no trial or anything. And this is what they did to two ladies in a truck, somehow mistaken for Dorner...

So the 2 women in the truck survived? I saw a news report that said they died. Not that the news is a trustworthy source or anything.

Just injured, but still really messed up, especially since according to them: "There was no warning. There were no orders. No commands. Just gunshots."

Well then I'm glad they survived and my sentiment is still the same. Anyone who shot a round at that truck needs to be charged with attempted murder. Cause that's exactly what it was.

Not in retaliation, that would imply that they killed them to get back at Dorner, they killed them by accident (actually, they didn't kill them, but they did shoot at them) because they are incompetent and for some reason allowed to carry firearms.

It's because they were incompetent. Considering the gun culture and how many guns are present in America it would just be plain unsafe for cops to not carry firearms.

Dorner allegedly attempted to steal a boat in San Diego and, after subduing the captain, said he was taking the vessel to Mexico, according to an affidavit filed with a criminal complaint in federal court in Los Angeles. Dorner is accused of telling the captain that he could recover his boat in Mexico.

...

After authorities interviewed the boat captain early Thursday, they found Dorner's wallet and identification cards "at the San Ysidro Point of Entry" near the U.S.-Mexico border.

On Wednesday, an Associated Press source confirmed that Dorner’s California driver’s license was found inside the burned cabin with the body.

Who cares.

Honestly, do you really care that maybe some really pissed off cop was like meh, **** it, I'm shooting that propane tank and chucking this molotov cocktail in there.

They guy ****ing died from the zillions of bullets that were going in the house, from the big ass fire that was either accidentally started by a tear gas grenade, by himself on purpose of purposefully by the cops and he also probably died after blowing his brains out and saying **** this shit brah.

That's like that Alabama standoff thing in the bunker. That thing allowed for no tactical opportunities. They waited for the guy to simmer down and fall asleep or something, then they went in and shot him in the head. Who gives a shit, problem solved. What goes around, comes around.
