How do I fix scratches in my les paul copy, it has a acrylic finish and scratches very easily

Why would he use Google when he can get dumbasses like me to tell him?

Buff it out with some wet, high-grit sandpaper (1,000-1,500 grit) and then buff the clear coat with some polishing compound and a buffer wheel.

This only works for light surface scratches though - anything deeper than the clear coat will have to be repaired and the guitar will have to be completely refinished.
