So, whenever I get up to gigging volume with a bit of gain, my Ibanez's springs love to drone and feed back.
Has anyone tried floyd upgrade's coated springs? Any issues with flutter-killing? If not, I'll just pick up a set.
I'm up for building you a pedal.

I've got a set in my old Roadstar II. They work just like normal springs but are a little quieter. No issues with killing the flutter. One thing you'll want to do is file the coating off the pin and ring of at least one spring before installation. The coating does break the ground circuit between the bridge and the claw if that is where your ground wire is attached. Filing the coating off just the ends of one spring allows it to ground correctly.

Sounds great, poppa! I'll invest in a set.

And, I've tried cotton balls, but this guitar is extra resonate or something... I was literally getting feedback from the springs.
