hello everyone, hoping someone can assist. Had a 2nd hand 200w 5522 Marshall bass amp for a couple of years now, and it still sounds great, but just lately when it starts to heat up the sound cuts out.

I cleaned the jack connection, changed the plug for the power socket which has definately helped, but the amp still cuts out when it gets hot. Sorry, have to excuse my ignorance here, but the grille at the back of the head gets very hot which I think is the root (no pun intended) of the problem. The nearest person who can fix it locally is 25 miles away, and we aren't too far from the Marshall factory itself in Milton Keynes, but of course it won't be under guarantee/warranty anymore.

Any suggestions gratefully received. Thx
