Hello Glorious UG Community.

First of all I do not want a gibson.

But heres a general criteria of what im looking for at, but you don't have to follow it completely:

22 frets
no tremelo
bolt on/ set neck not fussed
9-12 fingerboard radius
2 humbuckers or hs
short scale (24.75)

cool retro looks
I do not mind off set bodies - but don't want shitty metal looking guitars

I mainly play classic rock and grunge...so want something loud!

Another recommendation for Reverend. Many of them- heck, most of them- fit your list, that includes models like the Flatroc, Sensei, Beyonet and a few others.

As mentioned, the Godin Richmond line has some nifty guitars- the Empire might fit your criteria- but other Godins like the Redline HB, or one from the Core or Icon series might be more your style.

DBZ has some nice guitars like the Imperial and Royale that might be to your liking.

Fernandes has a bunch of guitars that you'd probably like: the Ravelle, the Dragonfly spring to mind.

Closer to your home, look at Fret-King's Blue or Green label lines.

On the higher end of your budget, check out US Masters. Their business model and quality are essentially like Carvin's, but AFAIK, they don't jack up their international prices as much. (But you'd have to contact them directly to find out exactly how much...)

A Fender Toronado sounds like it would be perfect. I have one from '98 and it's pretty awesome for the price.
Le Gear
Standard Tele (modded to Nashville specs)
Ibanez AM93
Reverend Roundhouse

Orange AD30
Vox AC4c1
Jet City JCA20H
'72 Fender Vibrosonic Reverb

And pedals!

I don't know if they ship internationally, but a Malden Karma or Bad Karma would be a decent option.
