I had to buy this Bugera 212v bk cab almost in a rush (I really needed something for a show, and I moved abroad, so I had to sell my older cabs). Not the most solid, but nothing against this cab's construction, but the speaker seem a little flat to me, I use small amps, from 15 to 20-30 watts max and it seems like I can never get the best out of them. I love how celestion v30 sounds, and I've been using them for years, so I was thinking about throwing out the bugera speakers and put in the v30s.

Do you think doing this will actually be worth it? replacing the speakers alone, could it actually be a noticeable improvement, or am I better off getting something else?

Worth a try, if you buy the speakers and it turns out that it wasnt what you were looking for you can still buy a new higher quality empty cabinet to transplant the V30's into.

at the same time, considering how many cabs come stock with v30s, it'd probably be cheaper to buy a v30-loaded cab...

But then again you may score good deals on used market, v30s are common.

I always tend to think you're always better off buying once, I would just start saving again and get a cab loaded with the speakers you want and using what you got for the time being
Fender Strat Deluxe
Fender MexiStrat
Epiphone Sheritan
Ibanez Artcore
Fender Twin Reverb silverface
Roland JC120

I see good deals on CL for used speakers all the time. Can normally get a pair of good speakers between 100-150 used.

See, it's important that people clarify when they say "metal", because I pretty much always assume they are a Cannibal Corpse fanboi.
