Goddamnit. 1313 looked awesome.

I know!

That was like the only thing good to come out of E3 that year!

This is terrible advice. Even worse than the useless dry, sarcastic comment I made.

Bummer. I was still holding out hope for a sequel to Republic Commando. Oh well.

That's a shame.

I now have even less video games to look forward to. When are they gonna release awesome games again? There have been some great ones in the past few years, but you seem to have to dig through a lot of crap to find them.

I think destiny has potential. GTA5 will be great too.

And I hope someone gets ahold of 1313. Would kind of be awesome if bethesda got it and turned it into an rpg like fallout

While it's always sad to see a developer shut down and people lose their jobs, LucasArts haven't done anything good in quite a few years. Maybe now new developers will get their hands on licences that LucasArts have either forgotten about or ruined and breathe new life in to them.

If your last few good games were a bunch of overdone Lego ideas and a game Telltale produced under your name, it's time to go.

If you want some LArts games that remind you of your childhood, there's plenty that emulate that point-and-click adventure on steam. Plus, last I heard, Double Fine and Telltale are still making games

Nothing, but being upset that the company that made them has gone bust when all their decent stuff was released a decade ago seems kinda dumb to me. It's not like they were releasing great games constantly and have gone, dunno, just doesn't seem like you're really missing much with them gone.

Yeah I know, but like I said earlier its more of a nostalgic thing. I played these games all the time as kid, and now that they're being shutdown it just feels like some of childhood is "dying".

Just saw this: http://www.blastr.com/2013-4-5/turns-out-canned-star-wars-1313-game-woulda-starred-boba-fett?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

Adding insult to injury, some more details have surfaced about the ill-fated Star Wars 1313 game Disney just tossed out the airlock. Turns out the game would’ve starred everyone’s favorite bounty hunter: Boba Fett

PLEASE SOMEBODY PICK UP 1313

In my opinion the best Star Wars games were made by pandemic anyway. (Battlefront series)
