Really not 100% sure I want to do this, because I LOVE this bass, so it's really more of a feeler to see if anyone is even interested, but I have a great looking USA-made Peavey Axcelerator 4 Plus and I'd really like to have a 7 string guitar again.

The bass has the highly acclaimed VFL Plus pickups, a PAO FERRO fret board (!) and a Swamp Ash body. This is hands-down, the best 4 string bass you'll find for the price and literally puts basses 3-4 times is price to shame. These are very rare basses.

Bass sounds absolutely glorious, but I'm using my 5 string Ibanez Prestige more now and I have my cheap USA Peavey Fury when I need a 4 string. I hand-picked this bass over others in the $2-3000 range. It's THAT good.

Trade value at $450ish.

Mainly looking for an Ibanez RG 7620 or 7621, but will consider other Ibanezs, Agile, etc. Not really big on Schecter 7s, as the neck is too big for me and tends to make my wrists hurt Something with a flat neck would be best.

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.
