I apologize if this thread doesn't belong here, but I need advice for painting a guitar. I want to paint my own guitar so that it is similar to George Lynch's ESP M-1 Tiger. I want to use nitrocellulose lacquer only. I have no clue how I'm supposed to do this, ha. I'd really appreciate a set of steps that I should follow for painting tiger stripes on a guitar body. I'd like the main body color to be yellow; the stripes black; the sides white.

Here is George Lynch's original tiger guitar:

Have a good day, fellows!

Do you have any experience painting on canvas or other materials? If you do you could pencil on an outline lightly and paint it with a brush. If not you could spray paint the entire body yellow, then use thick paper to cover all the parts you want to remain yellow and paint the areas you want black.
