So, would the fighters in a battle between 50,000 Civil War era troops and 6 US special forces commandos with modern weapons go to Valhalla? Who has the honor? Who has the advantage? Does it matter?

that's a popular misconception bro

guess you're right bro...

In combat the Vikings are believed to have engaged in disordered style of frenetic, furious fighting, leading them to be termed berserkers. They may have induced this mental state through ingestion of materials with psychoactive properties, such as the hallucinogenic mushrooms, Amanita muscaria,[51] or massive amounts of alcohol.[52]

In England the Viking Age began dramatically on 8 June 793 when Norsemen destroyed the abbey on the island of Lindisfarne. The devastation of Northumbria's Holy Island shocked and alerted the royal Courts of Europe to the Viking presence. "Never before has such an atrocity been seen,"

He was stating that Vikings were not always looking to wage war. What you quoted says nothing about that.

It's also not fair that both Vikings and soldiers have to face all the Pokemon who died in battle.

I think that you have gotten a mistaken notion of what Valhalla was supposed to be. Valhalla is supposed to be a place where there are gorgeous young maidens and lots of ale to be drunk. Valhalla is supposed to be a reward for those brave soldiers who died valiantly in battle. Sort of like a trip to the best night club in town, but you only go there if you have done an exceptional act of bravery on the battlefield. It was not a place for warriors to fight each other. Why? They have already done that. Now it is time for their reward.

Because that's what everyone who lived in Scandinavia during that time did.
