I found this a few days back in a classified area online, wondering if anyone could identify the make/model of it.

Thanks,
Zach

Just noticed the link didn't work, images too large to upload... Resizing with a script now... The images should be fixed in a minute.

I've added pictures to the OP and must say that it bears resemblance to a Les Paul, although the point at the bottom and odd cutout shape are throwing me off.

It looks a bit more like a Fernandes Ravelle.

It isn't one, but that's the closest thing I can come up with at the moment.

Well...it could be an older one- mine is pretty new- and the design has been around a while.

Nah, the Caddys are all round on the ass-end, with a wedge on top and the lower horn is longer and straighter.

+1 it looks really close to a Fernandes Ravelle.

and as time passes, things change. IIRC gibson tweaked the shape of the SG a bit throughout the decades. i am sure other manufacturers have done the same.

I've been looking for pix of older Ravelles, and I can't find one that looks quite like that.

There is a European luthier called J.E.G. that did their own version of the Ravelle, but they were pretty faithful to the original's contours.

Then I thought it might have been an SCR from PR guitars, but the ass-end is still wrong.

I'm betting this is a custom or an extremely limited edition body, but I can't say by whom.

Alright, then here's the real kicker: Is this thing worth $100 being unidentified... I'm still on the fence about this one as it's lacking quite a bit of the parts of whatever is was.

And?

Were I so minded to buy such a thing, I'd consider that a decent deal. Compare it to a body from Warmoth or some such.

It looks like a modified Ibanez Halberd shape:

Looks like a Les Paul meets Iceman. It might be some kind of Les Paul copy that needed some things changed not to look too much like a Les Paul, dunno.

I don't think its any of Paul Sanley's guitars from Washburn or Silvertone.

Doesn't look like that at all. Look at the picture. The upper part of the body is like a Les Paul and the lower part is a bit like an Iceman or something (though Iceman has a longer horn). And the guitar's "ass" is similar to Iceman too. It's a Les Paul meets an Iceman (with a shorter horn).

Maybe it converted to Judaism to be more like Paul Stanley...

This is the best and most reasonable answer.
