Hey guys, looking to get a pickguard with some custom graphics painted onto it. (Specifically, a black pickguard with some neon shapes on it) I've already rendered it in photoshop.

The issue is that the strat in question is an '08 VG, which means it has extra knobs, an extra pickup and LED compared to a standard.

Does anyone know if Roland pick guards/knobs for the new G5 VG would fit my older model? Also, can anyone recommend where I can get the pick guard painted/ made? And finally, can someone point me to where I can purchase black knobs that would fit my strat, I already emailed Fender and they said they don't stock black plastic parts for the VG.

Also, is there any issue with using black Dimarzio pickup covers with my strat? They look fairly easy to install, but do they look good? Thanks guys!

Yo, check guitarpartsonline or dragonfire guitars for your plastic knobs
Also if you know of a local airbrush shop you can get it done there, but in my opinion you should do your designs in vinyl or some form of sticker due to durability issues with paint being on the picking area

Well the knobs should certainly fit. Odd that Fender are telling you you can't get spares from them. Failing that, most pots have a 6mm shaft so you might have to substitute them with some other small knob.

Just about any single coil pickup cover ought to be fine. Just check the size.

And for the graphics, what Alexi said: your best option is probably getting your design printed onto self-adhesive vinyl, then you can just use your existing pick guard.

BTW: Alexi/roope joined yesterday, banned already? Swift work.
