People think Kiss From A Rose isn't awesome?

I don't think I've ever heard it without chills.

Yeah, quality if you're a 14yo metalfag with greasy hair, a fedora, a massive ego, and obsessed with A7X (which pretty much describes every Schecter fanboy I've known).

I can't take anyone who plays them seriously.

I worded that post poorly.

I meant a Schecter, o]or an obscure-shaped guitar (like B.C. Rich).

And still, that Schecter in the first pic you posted makes anyone who plays it scream "I'm a raging metalfag.
"

I'm not sure if Ian is being serious,or whether he is trolling.

Takes a fox to know another. But even you aren't sure. God damn.

Now that your rose is in bloom,
A light hits the gloom on the gray!

So many emotions.

Gm - F - G

dat emotion.

Seriously though, I love that song. But it's a pain to play on an acoustic because of the barring throughout the whole song.

I'm a wimp.

4. I'm a metalhead that listens to Johnny Cash and Justin Timberlake (**** you, they're good)
3. I'm shit with tones, so I rely on the presets that came with my halfstack.
2.I'm a Jacksonfag.
1.I masturbate to death metal.

I predominantly listen to post-rock and yet really don't like anything Explosions in the Sky have done, except Your Hand in Mine and Have You Passed Through This Night.

They're so bland!!!

Was the first one How Strange, Innocence or Those Who Tell the Truth...? I think I like How Strange more, overall, but I like Have You Passed and With Tired Minds.

I think I like their album artwork more than their music.

How Strange, Innocence. It's more raw and I kind of dig that.

No order

- I listen to every genre of music...EVERY GENRE Though I am mostly a metal head who has needs some smooth R&B and hardcore message rap every now n then
- Even though I consider myself romantic goth/posi punk (I wanna make a change someday) I hate being around the alt community now cos A) no one likes rap/r&b and B) so. many. elitists.
- 3rd year of playing guitar and I A) still can not read music/learn by ear/sweep/tremolo/solo and B) only have my crappy set up of a first act guitar/gibson maestro/practice amps
- I like First Act. Slash and Mastodon proves their worth
- I think R&B guitar/bass/drum are all GREATLY underrated. Most ppl shrug it off cos it's soft, smooth, or cos the guitarist isn't some guitar god (most R&B musicians are session)

i cant believe the people that say if you dont know theory you arent a musician. you guys are idiots. i dont know theory but used to jam with two dudes who were guitar teachers regularly. and i hope that hits you right in your elitist feelings.

1. I'm addicted to listening to any The Carpenters songs (especially at night)
2. I still listen to My Chemical Romance.
3. I don't find Cliff Burton that Godlike in Bass. I envy him on his constant headbanging though.
4. The Black Album is Metallica's 3rd best album for me.
5. No one in my house is impressed by my fantastic skills in finger-style and tremolo playing. WTF!!!!

1. My skill has fluctuated so much in the 6 years I've played that I'm worse now than I was 2 years ago.
2. I've forgotten most of the theory I spent years building.
3. My desire for an amazing tone makes me angry when I consider it against the equiment I actually own.
4. I sold my Carvin Legacy half stack that I paid £900 for to build a PC, which I sold a year later for £200.

1. I wish people in this thread would learn the difference between rhythm and tempo.
