Im starting a crazy project and am looking for finished acoustic guitar necks. Does anyone know where i can find them? I will be attaching them to porcelain guitar bodies that i make myself. Thanks.
finished necks aren't cheap - you'd do better to buy broken guitars on ebay or craigslist, or guy really cheap guitars like the rogue starter guitar http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitars/rogue-starter-acoustic-guitar
and pull the necks off. but of course, if you don't want a fingerboard on the neck, that wouldn't work.

here's some finished necks you can buy - they're all over $120 each.

I just looked in my Oxford English Dictionary and under "Acoustic Guitar", there was your Avatar and an email address!
I have no idea where you're going with this, but all I can say is it sounds massively impractical. Best of luck though.

I'm assuming these will be Object D'art?

FWIW. the other 2 primary neck suppliers would be Warmouth and Carvin. I believe Warmouth only makes bolt on Fender style, while Carvin make bolt-ons and neck through body designs for guitar and bass. A couples of options would push the price over $300.00 USD.

That's not really what you're looking for is it?
