It also costs more than 3 times the price of a Small Clone (£219 vs. £61).
And it sounds different than the Small Clone, not necessarily better. IMHO, it's overpriced as hell.

FYI, the best chorus i've ever tried was the aNaLoG.MaN Bi-Chorus/Mini Chorus.

But all of this (including your post) is completely irrelevant to this thread.

Well, he said its better than any three times the price.
I was disagreeing.
It may be overpriced to you, but the Waterfall really is worth every cent.

Why was the other thread closed? I was interested to hear the responses.

What's particularly amusing about it is that a mod closed it, then a mod opened it, posted a comprehensive listing, then closed it again!!

Those mods and their silly shenanigans!!

Boss DS-1. Tt's just one of those "why not have one?" pedals. You can occasionally grab it for $20 used and get some solid (not spectacular) tones out of it.

20M of CAT5E cable i got from work for free and a couple of 7PIN midi connectors for 0.50c each.

I got a Groove Percussion kit with Aquarian heads on the snare and floor tom for free. $10 for a Pearl kick drum pedal and I'm quite happy with where I'm at so far. I still need to pick up a hi-hat clutch and some more cymbal stands for when my friend gives me his old cymbals but for the money I've spent so far it does more than a good job.

Never even heard of that pedal before.

Part of the reason why I mentioned DS-1 is that you can find one just about everywhere. Not to mention the fact that because it's a Boss it will be around long after the sun explodes.

I once used a piece of kitchen tissue/towel as a pop shield for months.

I heard that some inventive people put tights over a coat hanger.

I ended up buying an actual pop shield because the original kitchen towel got soggy with spit.

Little Big Muff is meant to be a smaller Muff, same sounding, made by the same people.

It's almost the same price! Why were you surprised?

I was actually pretty unimpressed with the Little Big Muff. It surprised me how much I preferred the actual Big Muff.

Because I don't like modern day EHX stuff at all.

Cheap tricks? How about a ScotchBrite pad to sand the sticky gloss finish off the back of the neck to a nice smooth satin?
Given a infinite number of monkeys strumming on an infinite number of guitars, eventually they will end up playing Stairway.

also guitarfetish pickups sound fantastic for the price.

Amen, I've tried some stuff from them and been supersatisfied. I dont have their pups Although I did install some on this guy's guitar and liked the difference!) but I got a pushpull switch that was pretty cheap. And I'm super happy with that

My Joyo Vintage OD sounds pretty sweet and only $30 bucks. Bluesy crunch all day.
Current Rig:

Eppy SG w/Swineheads, Marshall DSL 5c, Joyo Vintage OD, Joyo British Sound, Sounds Sounds Fuzz Face, GGG Guv'nor, Dr. Boogie Pedal, Crybaby in Red Sparkle, Digitech Hardwire Delay

The things I would do for a Les Paul...
