I would imagine it would sound alright, but you won't really know if its going to give you the sound that you want until you try it.

I have mixed the legends with a v30 and a c-rex with good results. To me the legend sounds very similar to the v30, it just has a better low end and less mids.

^ yeah. the g12t100 is meant to be like a higher-powered, more modern-sounding greenback (i haven't tried it), while the v12 is as you said, like a less in-your-face v30. should hopefully sound ok, whether it'll sound good or great...
