Alright so i'm in the market to buy a new neck. I want an American made neck with the large 70s headstock and 70s decal. I know these came on the Highway one's and the specials, but im not really sure which ones of the best quality/playabilty. Does anyone have any experience with american necks with the 70s headstock and know what models had the nicest/quality ones?

So I take it you're talking about a Fender neck or are we supposed to guess?

Go ahead and spend your money, I don't care. It won't make you sound better.

Do you want it custom made or something off a production guitar? Highway one is great if you can find one but I'd say best neck I ever played was off a 60's Road Worn. No big headstock but worth it.

My first guitar still has residue from an unfortunate ranch dressing incident

I played this guitar once. It unleashed the ****ing fury and I got kicked out of Guitar Center.
