Hey guys, recording n00b here trying to track guitars for the first time. Everything was working fine for me earlier, but then all of the sudden the sound seemed to start rapidly coming in and out. This is audible more in some parts (especially tremolo picking) than others. Sorry that I can't describe it better, I'm new to this stuff, but check out the linked file to hear the problem for yourself. I'm sure it's something simple.

My guitar is going right through my ux2 interface through peavey revalver into logic pro.

If I can provide any additional information/recordings, just let me know and i'll get on it.

I think black doom death metal is just plain stupid. go flame on me but i can't hear nothing but shit on those songs with everything in drop A or below. also it could've been without lyrics as you'd never hear them anyway.

Er...just sounds like tremolo picking to me. A short clip without context makes it very hard to tell whether it matches your intentions or not anyway.

Maybe your speakers are wired out-of-phase :P

Just realized that it only occurs in my active bridge pickup (which is much hotter than my other pickups), could it be that it's low on battery?

If I were to adjust the buffer size, would that be done in logic or revalver? I'd guess revalver, because the issue still occurs when I use it as a standalone without any DAW
