Hi, I'm interested in the Behringer UGC102 Guitar Link, but I'm not sure how it operates.

I use FL Studio with asio4all drivers, If I were to plug in the UGC102 without installing its own asio drivers, would it show up in FL Studio as a channel input? (Alongside Line In and my USB mic)

Hope you can help, cheers

Yea it should do. That's what ASIO4ALL does.

Does it not have its own drivers?

The Recordings forum would be a better place for this thread.

Sorry about posting in the wrong thread..

I've read reviews about folk having hassle setting it up, like the guitar link acting as an external soundcard with all audio passing through it, or having to use splitter cables.

I'm hoping they aren't setting it up correctly.

I was also worried about some driver conflict if I install the guitar links asio drivers along with asio4all.
I just want to run the guitar live through various vst's with low latency.
As I don't plan on using the headphone out on the device, would even one of those super cheap jack-to-usb cables do?

Cheers

Just pointing out the best place to go, that's where most of the knowledge about this sort of thing will be

Just to help anyone in the same boat..

Got a super cheap copy of the Behringer Guitar Link off ebay, it was recognised as a USB Audio Codec device when I plugged it in so no other drivers are needed.
Enabled it in the ASIO settings in FL Studio, can now select it as a channel input.

Low latency and clean signal, it will very much do for now until I get something better
