I had a problem where the 24th fret wouldn't bend without dying out and this one does that as well. I had them both set up so I'm guessing its the 27 frets making the 24th sound bad. Anyone have this problem?

I saw in a couple of pictures that on Bucketheads Les Paul (only some pictures) that his neck pickup is painted in white. Can anyone explain to me why he would do this, and if there are any pros and cons.

The guy wears a KFC Bucket and a white mask during performances, and you're interested in the color of his pickup covers?

Have the frets checked with a fret level (basically a thin, steel ruler). If it isn't a high fret, then you may have a small twist in your neck. A little bit of truss rod adjustment fixes that easily. I had the same issue with a B.C. Rich a while back. 1/4 turn and all was well.

On both? The guitar tech said Ibanez does things like that often lol

well i'm guessing they don't intentionally make 27 fret guitars where the 24th fret isn't usable But i could be wrong
