I've heard mixed reviews about the modboards though, and I havent seen any youtube demos of the tremolo or chorus modboards either. I'd rather see what they can do before I invest

Yeah, I have no experience with them at all. I just knew about them so I figured I'd share if you were unfamiliar.

What you want to do can be done, it will just take more planning and work

You might be able to get Toyroom FX to make you a pedal without the enclosure to use. The guy who runs it is a member here and he is in Australia
