Can we keep talking about Tom Morello?

Because the other day I was in Barnes & Noble and they played the live version of Springsteen's "Ghost of Tom Joad" that features him and I almost cried.

I love the RATM version of that song. I had my 11th grade English teacher play it for the class while we were reading The Grapes of Wrath.

I imagine that was powerful. Morello was essentially my sole inspiration for learning how to play guitar. I remember being in high school and watching his Guitar World Tips & Tricks videos before I even picked up a guitar.

He's always been one of my favorites. My cousin, a friend of ours, and I tried out for the school talent show by playing Bulls on Parade. That was such a fun song to play. Unfortunately we weren't very good, and didn't get into the show.
