Want to install a killswith in where my useless tone nob is. Im a death metal player so never use the tone so might as well make the most of the hole if i were to pull the dial out. Ive got a SPST two way mini gotoh toggle swith with 6 pins and not quite sure how to wire the thing if anyone could help. Im equiped with two humbuckers and the electronics are simply connected to a three way toggle for the pickup selector and then to the volume. No rocket science involved (with regards to coil tapping or anything like that) just need some help as to where i need to include my switch so that it functions as a kill switch

If you only use one pickup and you have a volume for both, turn down the neck pickup and the 3 way will act just like a killswitch. I do this on some of my guitars and it works great with absolutely no mods to the guitar at all

If it has 6 lugs it is a DPDT. You only need two lugs. Wire it to short across the output jack. The diagram posted above will work but is more "complicated" than necessary. Pick a column and wire the middle lug and one of the outer lugs of the same column to each lug of the jack.

you can also do this with a single volume pot by wiring the neck pick up straight to the volume pot (then wire the pot to the switches neck position) and the bridge straight to switch (then to the jack), then turn the volume off and the neck side of the switch will have no sound. Only "down" side is you can't turn the bridge pick up volume lower...but meh who does that anyway
