Hey guys,

Travelling to The States in the week, then connecting on a domestic flight...

I just wondered if i would get any hassle if i carry my Boss ME50 in my carry on luggage???

While the person on the phone may be fine with it, you might have a different worker give you a hard time. (airlines...) TSA will probably be asking a question or two. Overall I wouldn't worry about it, you will be fine.

EDIT
You might not be able to get it on a carry on. I guess it could be considered a blunt weapon.

^ I meant I doubt the airline would have an issue with it. You can bring a laptop/tablet on board so I don't thing a guitar pedal would be any different. I guess my wording could have been better.

I've brought electric equipment for my job with no problems. If you carry on I suggest you have the power supply handy as TSA may ask you to power it up.

ok thanks guys, i havent made my mind up yet.. I could take the manual and i suppose i could put batteries in it too just in case...

Make sure your power supply will work in the USA, if not you'll need to by another when you get here

You’ll be fine. Just make sure it will be easy to take out of the bag during security screening.
