Ok, I'm looking for a song, preferably accoustic, with lyrics that basically convey the message "I'm sorry, I was a jerk". I googled and found like 1 song and it sucked, so I was wondering if anybody knew any...

It'll be one to sing and play, but I'm pretty damn good at singing while playing (Any metallica, namely nothing else matters, spoke in the wheel, etc. I can play while singing), so I'm not worried much about difficulty.

Thanks
Joseph

My mom is opening a coffee shop in about a month and she wants me to play at the opening. Acoustic, instrumental. Im working on A song for life and Song for George by Eric Johnson. I can also do Burning Down the Mountain by Steve Vai. What other songs might be good? Im too great at fingerpicking, but feel free to give me a challenge.

There's an AOL session video of Queens of the Stone Age doing an acoustic No one Knows which is very cool. I find that song more fun to play acoustic than electric.

i'm about to start learning my cousin on how to play the guitar, what would be some easy beginner songs to teach him?

i cant remember what i learned back then

I say teach him Tribute by Tenacious D.

The intro would introduce him to hammers and pulls and the rest of the song is just chords.

Last time I checked, Technical Difficulties by Racer X wasn't acoustic. I listened to it yesterday, and heard a different version, and both are definitely 100% electric shredding.

i dunno if someone else has mentioned this on one of the other pages but you have Queen listed under 'O'....

Yup, it has indeed been mentioned. I doubt it's going to be updated now though... OP hasn't edited for nearly a year.

My contributions:

Davey Graham - Anji(/Angie/Anjie/Angi/Anjee/Whatever)
Great fingerpicking song, kinda tricky, sounds fantastic. As I understand it, this song was the difference between mediocre and good guitarists in the 60s. Find a recording or use guitar pro to get the timing. P.S. Don't get this cofused with the Rolling Stones' Angie, that's a completely different song. P.P.S. This one was changed and covered by Bert Jansch, then Simon and Garfunkel.

Guitar Pro

Velvet Underground - Heroin
Very simple, yet very dramatic and powerful. Easy, easy song that sounds good.
Heroin

Edit: Ooh, started a new page. That's considered good luck in some primitive tribes!
