"Them". Right. Your only other post is about this band that totally isn't yours.

I still can't figure out why you'd write stuff on your guitar when you could have a Hello Kitty strat like all the other metal kids do.

start with more poppy music with occasional screams and then work your way into emoish crap like a day to remember and so on.

THREAD REVIVAL.

''We’re doing a very intimate studio performance of “The Parallax” and we’re having an auxiliary of musicians. Percussionists, saxophone, flute, string quartet, all kinds of stuff with us to really bring the album to life.''

Stoked.

I hope that includes Part 1. It bugs me how that EP is kind of treated as a whole separate unrelated entity. Between merch that specifically says "The Parallax II: Future Sequence" rather than "The Parallax," or the limited edition book that only talks about PII:FS, or the fact that they play the entirety of PII:FS without playing P:HD in front (granted, that may be way overkill for a single show, so I don't blame them). I'd just like to see it treated as one bigger piece.

Yeah they're doing the first part too. I'm so ready.

They're not.

The Facebook post at first said both, and then was edited to just say PII.

This is disappointing. PII never seems complete to me without PI. I always have to listen to PI and then PII, when I do any serious listening.

Woah. This thread went an entire year without a post? This thread used to occupy so much of my life, guys.

New song is out, sounds like they're slowly becoming a Core influenced version of Dream Theater.

I like. I expect the majority of the metal forums to hate it and for this thread to become a clusterfuq again.

Funny how just a few years ago I would probably call BTBAM my favorite band, and now I pretty much never listen to them, though I can still enjoy Colors and The Silent Circus.

I'll definitely give the new album a try.

They're still my favorite band but I haven't listened to them too much in the last year just because some other really great albums have come out since Parallax II.

Can't stop listening to Juggernaut. Still can't stop listening to Volition.

Funny how this thread started as a complaint about vocals. I think the vocals were great. And then Memory Palace came out. Not a huge fan of the screams. The clean vocals are still great though.

I hear more Opeth than DT, the death metal still seems to be strong in their style.

listening to Hypersleep Dialogs again, I forgot how fucking horrid the drums are. Compression is like all attack, no release. The snare and kick nearly sound the same. How did their producer or whatever fuck that up so bad.

Shame as it's one of their best albums.
