I don't see a point in you.

As stated last time, after long debates we left AFI and The Offspring off the list as AFI were never pop punk, and used to be punk, whereas Offspring for the majority of their albums have been punk.

So keep them off
<Dobzilla> because "when you were born, they thought yo' momma shit herself."

will people stop saying its pointless? its not. its really not.

Its so people know what is "pop punk" and what is not, so butt out.

andrew (as well as Funeralforafrie ) have done a great job putting it together.

So, say someone liked a few pop-punk bands. They didn't know of any others, so they look at the list, pick a band, see what they sound like, and probably like them. That's the point.
#6
we should put them in clasification by what other bands they sound similar to. That would probally make the list alot more relevant to people.

Yeah, leave the Ramones on.
How come the emo list one has been locked? Just as I remember a couple more it closes.

EDIT: [Spunge] are ska from what I remember.
Alkaline Trio should really be on here rather than the emo list.
Ted Leo & The Pharmacists are more Alternative than pop punk.
Add on Orange Island and Agent Orange.

Quote by Mia (Pulp Fiction)
Why do we feel it's necessary to yak about bullsh*t in order to be comfortable?

That's when you know you found somebody special. When you can just shut the f*ck up for a minute, and comfortably share silence.

take alkaline trio off at this moment, and add sr-71 cause their new album is very popish... even though i still like them
If i see avril lavigne anywhere in my life, I will stab her with a battery acid filled needle so her internal organs turn to mush and she violently ****s them out while screaming AAAH ****... then i will bone her.... have a nice day :-)

if The Ramones were pop punk, life would cease to exist, but it goes on so they're not...
Slayer RULES

Metallica sucks!

id say Alk 3 is emo-influenced punk rock, i would say the riffs and straight forward music jus doesnt sound poppy.... i would also say Avril with her new stuff is Pop/Rock..................... and the ramones back then pop-punk ceased to exist......ramones are straight punk I would say, if i am wrong then i guess i like pop-punk which i never thought i ever would but anywayz the Ramones rock

Ramones STARTED pop-punk. The name simply wasn't around. Get over it. It's true. It isn't like pop-punk is an insult.

Yeah, I agree. Ya know who's better than all these horrible and gay pop-punk bands? Green Day! I'm sure that's why you have a Green Day quote in your sig. Dipshit.

p.s. No offence to Green Day. They're the shiznit.

Anyway, what about the Movielife?

MxPx is, and while Alkaline Trio bends genres, they aren't pop-punk.
