Here it is. One of the newer 90s emo revival bands and a great one it is too. For fans of Cap'n Jazz (everyone).

Go to their myspace to download their EP for free. UG censors the link due to the profanity.

Vocals kinda bothered me. Music was great though.

Is fingering an emo chick that likes yoy and that has fallen in love with you is it wrong to you to finger her during lunch outside in front of everyone at the high school? would you not care or lol even wish it was you?

Awesome band. The vocals are possibly my favorite part of the band haha.
Seeing them in April with Algernon and a bunch of other great bands.

God modern emo bands need to find another band to ripoff.

I agree with this, but I honestly love Snowing. F*ck Your Emotional Bullsh*t was one of the best eps of 2009.

Agreed, but I can't deny loving every Cap'n Jazz rip off haha. I saw these guys a while back and they were pretty good. I'm definitely excited to see them with Algernon, Towers, 1994!, etcetc.

sounds good, im downloading the ep right now

EDIT: wow, i've listened to it a couple times now and i have to say that the ep is amazing, might have to pick it up on vinyl

I love Snowing, and the members previous band Street Smart Cyclist. I envy you people who live close enough to actually see these bands in person.
#9
^don't have to live close dude, i've seen raein, off minor, la quiete...don't know if they're substantially bigger than these guys or anything though.

don't mind the band, vocals were a bit annoying though.

that is what girls find attractive.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I'm seeing these guys on Thursday. They're gonna open for my friend's band at their record release show.

I don't understand why people say bands like this and Alg Cad are ripping Cap'n Jazz off
Like, I get the vocals, yeah, they're similar
But instrumentally.....? Maybe I'm not listening to the right Cap'n Jazz, but what I've heard is nowhere near as complex as alg cad n'shit

(don't get me wrong, I love CnJ)

Normally, I don't mind the blatant ripoff, because, hey, nothing wrong with more of the Cap'n, but Snowing is just something I can't get into. They sound like a bad cover band.

but you manage to put up with circa survive? odd choice.

I have a playlist of songs by Snowing, Algernon Cadwallader, and Cap'n Jazz. It makes me feel better when I need to be cheered up, like now.

Is Snowing touring anytime soon?

The vocals.

I mean, I don't mind the ripoffs, but it's kind of getting out of hand. I'll suggest Knapsack for the new band to rip off. We need more bands that sound like them.

Knapsack would be good. Maybe some new Fugazi clones would be cool, as I haven't heard a new one in like 2 years. I wonder if people still like Texas Is The Reason. I guess that could work too.

I just want a new Fugazi album.

Well, they were pretty good last night. They were playing as part of my friend's band's record release show.

They were supposed to play before my friend's band, but they showed up late because one of the members had to work.

So they played after, and had like a half hour set.

By that point there were like 30-40 people there at most, which led to me seeing someone crowd surf on the smallest crowd I've seen. It was interesting.

I do.

Someone should clone Quicksand.

Anyways, listened to these guys because I really liked Street Smart Cyclist, but these guys...idk. I'm not a fan of Cadwallader either. When you're trying so hard to be a band, at least put a spin on it...otherwise I can't appreciate it too much.

I'm somewhere back behind Mr. John Galm. That kid that has his mouth open and is wearing glasses is kind of blocking me. But I'm totally there.

Actually you can kind of see me in that one. If you look at the girl right behind Galm I'm like the third head back. You can only really see me from my eyes up.

That looks like an awesome show, and I'm thoroughly jealous of their Teles.
My name is Danny. Call me that.

Matt, what's yer friend's band called? Are they any good?

They're ok. Not something I'd listen to on a regular basis, but they're fun live.
I like it.

Going to download now. I don't know what the hell I was talking about before, with not liking these guys or Algernon, but I think it's because I never listened to an album all the way through, just tried songs seperately. Either way, I now love this. Lawdie yes.

This album is great. It was an awesome suprise this morning to wake up and see that they released it
