Channel EQ settings:
EQ (always): Highpass 50-100hz, Lowpass 12khz
EQ (threadplate cab specific): cut at 800hz, cut at 4khz
EQ (suggestions): Boost between 300-400hz, boost 5-8khz for clarity

What does this mean? Where is the EQ? Pod farm or what? I'm stuck.

Okay guys, I have a confession to make. Not really a confession since it's something that's been bugging me for awhile but I've always been in denial about it.

**** you gilly, it's not what you think

If you don't want to use some sort of POD software, you could probably make a lot of those EQ changes with a graphic EQ pedal.

Are you in search of Joey's POD tact? Or perhaps something similar?

¯\(°_o)/¯ How do mix drums? perhaps?
I've bought, sold, and traded more gear than I care to admit.

I mean, I just recorded a cover over some drums with the joey preset someone has made.

Just don't know how to mix drums.

The preset won't even get you close. I'm sorry but it's true.

Sounded alright to me haha, but oh well. I'm not dying to get his tone. I have my own nice presets.

Sturgis preset sucks.

I've just finally found a tone in POD Farm that I really like.

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

This is the most ignorant post in this thread. Considering he has basically defined a genre and made more money than you likely will ever see while doing it, I think perhaps he deserves some respect.

I think you'd want a rack EQ for that kind of thing!
