New Boxes Day

Review: Mids are a bit boxy. Sounds like they're being run through cardboard, not enough push in the lows. Disappointment so far but I've got a good feeling about this.

I saw in a couple of pictures that on Bucketheads Les Paul (only some pictures) that his neck pickup is painted in white. Can anyone explain to me why he would do this, and if there are any pros and cons.

I like the white/brown color scheme. How much did you pay for a pre-trained dog vs. used?

Make sure you don't tumble over that one box, seems like it could be dangerous.

It's basically a Big Muff without a tone control. Won it in that charity raffle, along with the DD-20. The things on the top are skids to place your head on so that it doesn't slide around.

Lub New Box Days .

Splawn cabs are tight.

I didn't like the center mounted top handle at first but it makes it so much easier to carry. What speakers you going to put in her? I've got Smallblocks

Yea, the Splawn cab is great. I'd also like to point out that I ordered it 6 days ago and Scott quoted 7-10 days plus shipping. So they delivered in about half the time they quoted. Ridiculous for a custom cab.

I already put two of those Creambacks in it. Crazy delicious. I'd imagine the Small Blocks are somewhat similar. Did you order your cab with them? Cause I know there are two different versions of the Small Blocks. The ones in the 212 are closer to Greenbacks and teh ones in the 412/the ones the they sell separately are closer to Blackbacks.

And ya, I love the center handle. Easy to carry in one hand.

Nice Matt. Wanna trade the Splawn cab for the CAA one you sold me?

But seriously, I really can't wait to throw a 16ohm Creamback in it. I can't listen to your clips because my work computers block DB, but I'll check it out at home.

Man, very nice crunch and dirt. I feel the responsiveness, too. Can it do a bit of sag ala Recto and/or Uberschall? Different, I know.

Very nice playing, BTW. But really, what you need are window shades and/or curtains.

Nice clip.

AC/DC to KSE. Pretty much my fav range

Cool on the quick delivery. My guess is that it was a simple enough request tolex wise and not even loaded Mine took a full 2 weeks. It was a long 2 weeks

I didn't know there was a difference. Mine are the 55 watt G12M clones basically. I think. I'd have to look at the invoice.

I did notice they now have teh Creambacks as an option on their site. And....a 4x12 cab new is $950

Give the QR another chance. If you ever get your ass up north stop by.
