I was taking a nap, and out of nowhere I was "pulled" awake, it felt like my entire body was in a light shock, I couldn't breathe, and I couldn't move anything. All I could think was "wtf??" and then it stopped. Scared the living shit out of me.

what the hell happened to me??

That would be a nocturnal panic attack most likely. Worth speaking to a doctor over if it happens again or frequently.

Sleep Paralysis, it's completely normal. Next time it happens, don't move any big parts of your body, but just try to move you fingers or toes to snap out of it. Although, if you really want to have fun with it, you can use it to get into a lucid dream

You drank/ate too much before you went to sleep.
It happens to my dad on a biyearly basis.

I've had a couple... Happenings too. Something happened to me when I was driving home last Thursday. I had a couple of miles to go, and I looked up and saw a glowing orange object in the sky, to the east! It was moving very irregularly... Suddenly, there was intense light all around me. When I came to, I was home. What do you think happened to me?

How did you get this far into life without this happening before? It's called hypnic jerking, and as dirty as it sounds, it's very common. It happens to me damn near every night before I fall asleep for real.

EDIT: I didn't read the whole OP. It's sleep paralysis.

Sounds like you woke up abruptly.
Do you feel warm within your cage?

And have you figured out yet -

Aliens are out there, man.

I think half the people in the pit are aliens.
Ah no, but if they are out there I hope for their sake they never meet us. We´d mess their heads up so bad.

In all seriousness a few of the posters use the word humans a little too much instead of people or saying us .

"Its always been that way with humans"

"What do you expect from humans?"

"As humans you will always do X"

All taken from posts today in various threads. Somethings up...........
