Joe Walsh- Welcome to the Club
I don't hear any slide in that song.

Step 1: Buy a Gibson SG
Step 2: Insert Green Ringer, EQ, 3 dead squirrels and a microwave into said SG
Step 3: Plug in and freak the **** out.

Twice as Hard by the Black Crowes has a pretty easy part in it for starting out
Statesboro Blues by the Allman Brothers is pretty much a standard, must learn.

I've been working on a slow slide part in Willin' that the Crowes covered

Otherwise, any song can have a slide in it, a lot of Gov't Mule has parts, check out The Black Crowes, Tishamingo, The Steepwater Band and Blackberry Smoke, they incorporate slides into many songs.

Correct.

Joe Walsh has a number of good slide songs...off the top of my head there's The Bomber (James Gang), Over and Over, In the City (The Eagles), and the obvious Rocky Mountain Way. As others have mentioned the Allman Brothers have slide all over the place, as do the Black Crowes (if you really want, I can list all the Crowes songs with slide). I'd also recommend checking out some Little Feat.

Lots of ZZ Top songs have slide work thrown in. Their Dust My Broom cover comes to mind. George Thorogood songs have slide guitar.

The little solos that Richie Blackmore does in the album version of Catch the Rainbow are done with a slide.

Black Gives Way to Blue on Alice in Chains last record has a slide intro.

I Want to be the Boy to Warm Your Mother's Hear - The White Stripes

It has a rather simple slide guitar solo, that I, personally, think is sounds really pretty.

There are also a few Pink Floyd songs where Gilmour plays the lap steel, but can be adapted into slide guitar. I've done it a few times with songs like "Breathe" and "High Hopes".
