saw them open for Queens of the Stone Age in October. Didn't really do anything for me.

Biffy B-Sides are better than the mainstream tracks I think, but that's my opinion...

Easily one of teh best British bands around now. All their albums are great, but VoB would have to be my favourite. Infinity Land does come a close second though.
#19
You know I listen to the Alternative channel on Sky Music Choice (UK) and they play the stuff -- doesn't stand out from the crowd for me. My mate works on the trade music papers here and he rated them one of the best of last year if that means anything to you...
Stop showing off and play the music!
#20
listen to Get ****ed Stud and Living Is A Problem, then tell me they dont stand out frm the crowd.
#22
Are Biffy bringing out Who's Got A Match? as their next single? I saw it on Q with a video made up of live clips

^ Yeah. It's the sixth and last single to be released from Puzzle.

Saw them at Brixton in November. They were amazing. They played almost all of Puzzle and a minimum of 2 classics per album. During Glitter and Trauma thousands of pieces of glitter were dropped from the ceiling. I collected loads in my pockets and still have 'em now. ^ o ^
#25
I really used to like Biffy. Then Puzzle came out ... ****, killed the band for me.

You can never capture it again.

Granted, "Puzzle" isn't Biffy's best, but I think it has some really good tracks and I wouldn't say it ruined them for me

I think Machines is an incredible song

Puzzle is their worst album. It's just a bit too mainstream for me. Still brilliant but not as good.

For anyone who's only heard Puzzle era Biffy the 10 essential tracks you should download first are:

Joy Discovery Invention
Justboy
57
Bodies In Flight
The Ideal Height
Toys Toys Toys Choke Toys Toys Toys
All The Way Down: Prologue & Chapter 1
Glitter And Trauma
Some Kind Of Wizard
There's No Such Thing As A Jaggy Snake
#28
^ I would add 'My Recovery Injection' as that was one of the songs that got me into Biffy.

BIffy are the best band I have seen live.

Saw them 4 times last year but couldn't make it to their mini-tour atm

But yeah, I love them. Best band ever IMO.

How else do people say it then?

Surely "BIFF - EE CLY - ROW" makes sense?

Ive just started to get into biffy clyro, i picked up puzzle, and it seems pretty good. I need to pick up some of there earlier stuff like some of you have suggested. My favourite songs on puzzle are 9/15ths and Machines.
reach in the darkness for what you can find travel great distance in your mind.

^ . And mitch, get Blackened Sky next as you like Puzzle. It's quite accessible and doesn't have as much experimenting as The Vertigo of Bliss and Infinity Land.
It's gonna be a blue day
#38
I only have Infinity Land and Puzzle. Which album should I get next. My favourite songs are Living is a Problem, Saturday Superhouse and My Recovery Injection.

Blackened Sky gets worse towards the end. Vertigo of Bliss is consistently brilliant. Join my group if you havent. I know there is some Biffy fans out there
