My uncle recently finished making a guitar from scratch. I knew he was making one, but what I didn't knwo is that he was making it for me. It cost him about $1000 out of his pocket and I love the damn thing.

Its ****ing sexy. Here are some pics.

My initials, JVS-I, are even on the body. All of the metallic bits on the guitar are golden and the pickguard and knob are pearloid. It's truly a beautiful piece of work and I don't think I'd rather have any other guitar in the world. I should mention that it sounds just like other high-end guitars I've played.

Anyone else have a unique or custom guitar?

It's very nice.
I think its time to pack your things lets go,
To a place where we both know,
And dont worry, I'll drive real slow,
Spend some time before we go..

Ooh, like a combo of the best of a strat and a tele(except for the tremolo. But that's really down to opinion)...I love it, wish I had it. How's she sound?

Hence the "Except"; As in it doesn't have one even though it should.

It sounds great. Like...really great. But I wish I had a tremolo to. But on my other guitar it caused problems and ****ed with the bridge. I'm not very good with guitar maintenance, so I guess this is better for me.

Very nice, I don't like dot inlays though. Also less bolt more glue.

Yea, this is the first guitar my uncle ever made. So he's definitely getting better at it. Some of the guitars he's working on are gonna be awesome.

Yeah I swear this was posted a while back. But it is indeed a beauty. Are those carvin pickups by any chance?

Nice guitar.

Those look like Carvin pickups.

I had some guy make me a Charvel clone, it's pretty rad.

I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

I have posted pics before (not that long ago, about a month and a half ago). But I can't find the thread anymore. And I wanted to put pics in my sig. So I made another thread. lol.

I have no idea if the pickups are Carvin, but I'll ask my uncle.

Anyone else have any guitars made personally for them?
