Ok, so I was practicing sweep picking arpeggios when I realised something wasn't right. My high E string is tuned to E but the octave on the 12th fret is flat. The B string is similar as well while the other strings are all ok whereas these 2 strings are flat on the 12th fret. How do I fix this?

You'll need to intonate the strings. It's done differently depending on which guitar you have.

I have a strat, so I assume I just have to fiddle with the screws on the bridge?

The ones at the back, not the ones attaching it onto the bridge.

I think you turn it clockwise to get the note upwards, but I can't remember.
