So i got this beautifully playing RR24 but i have somekind of electronic trouble with it.in midst of playing the volume can go down and the gain go down and if i slap my volume pot a little it seems to start working again. And as all jackson's volume pot, this one too sucks. It rattles and ****s with my mind because it's loose as hell....but aside from that it should NOT do like this.

Something is wrong inside there so i would appreciate some leads what to do? It almost does as if you removed the battery or something...thats the only thing i can come up with as comparison. Volume and gain goes down.

Thanks in advance.

i had the same problem...replace the pots....or get the EMG set with new pots included like I did. Also tighten them!

So you had the exact same problem with Gain/Volume droppage? I think it has also gradually started to sound more shit as if there is something disconnecting all the time and sometimes it disconnects fully.

Well not exactly, sounds like the battery is almost dead? Are they EMG or Duncan...if you can try 18v or nine with 2 batteries in parralel that may help.....

I would open the back and look for loose connections, maybe the battery clip?

Hmmm...going to check. They are EMGs. I have recently swithced out the battery so i am confused.

Didn't see anything obviously wrong there just that one of the cords going to the volume pots middle thingy looked a bit loose and badly sodlered...

first tighten the screw on the pot cap so it won't be loose... then, as someone suggested, try to change the battery...
