I was removing a screw from my bridge humbucker on my ibanez gio. And when i unscrewed it the little spring or something that the screw was in fell down into the body and i can find it? what should i do to get it out? also what was the little spring for and is it that big of a deal
The spring helps hold your pickup in place. You should definitely try and get it out of there. Try fishing around with a magnet or something, maybe a very small magnetic screwdriver.
Haven't you heard?

It's a battle of words
If i cant get it out that way will i have to take off pickguard and look for it? Also will it be hard to find.
Same exact thing happend to me, on the same guitar. It's so frustrating, yeah try a magnet, or if possible , bring it to your closest guitar shop.
