I need a decent combo amp Doesnt matter if its tube or solid state but it has to have a good tone for metal but has to be loud enough for small gigs

for 400 you could pay a guitarist with a good rig to play metal a few times.

I need a amp
not crappy joke.

You want tube/solid state? You willing to go used?

There are no genres in metal that end with "core."

The only solid state amps I see recommended around here are Line 6 Flextones. Most guy's say to get a smaller 1x12 or 2x12 combo tube that's ~30~50 watts for small gigging with a mid range or soft drummer.

*EDIT*

I would recommend a ~$330 150w solid-state amp... but I'd be flamed as would the amp. lol.
