Today I went to a Sam Ash Guitars nearby and was thoroughly pleased. Went to try two guitars I'm torn between saving up for.

The ESP LTD MH-1000

and

The Jackson SL3 Soloist

The jackson was UNBELIEVABLE. I was so comfortably and pleased with it I think I my bowels might have sprung a leak.

Now they DIDN'T have the MH-1000 but they did have the MH-400 (I think that was the number). SInce it is in the MH series I thought it must at least feel the same. Picked it up and the sound was pretty damn good. Feel was great too. Just like my warlock which I'm comfortable with.

Idk though very rough decision. The Jackson was just a ****ing DREAM.

Still g2 try the MH 1000 somewhere.

Thoughts?

Fairly slim I think. I'm not positive though...

John Entwistle once in a while. I had to try to find him when I saw The Who two years ago.

Well I also tried the EC-1000

THAT was too thin for me.

Is it like the EC-1000?

OR

MH-400?

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

anything ESP/LTD is win.

That's the idea and THAT's the guitar I'm leaning towards.

The only thing that's holding me back is the fact I haven't tried out the MH-1000 yet.

I've played the Jackson through the amp I'm getting for Christmas (Bugera 6262) and it sounded just wonderful.

I can't judge the MH-1000's sound off of the inferior MH-400 (isn't it?) right?

These are are pretty much the same guitars I'm looking at as well. How 'bout the action on them? Is it really easy to play legato and such?
