And if so, what do you study to?

I use:
Champagne Supernova (Oasis)
Everything Radiohead did in the 90s except Creep and Just
The acoustic disk of In Your Honor by the Foos
Anything Beck has ever done.

I just listen to whatever I feel like listening to at the moment, when I'm studying.

It didn't seem possible, but apparently Messiah can spam even more now.

I listen to doom metal (Electric Wizard, Ramesses, etc) when studying.
We've drained full confession booths, polluted drinking wells with our repentances, and then stood grinning with our arms around the shoulder of a rotting child.

If you resist change, you will be here forever.

I listen to anything and everything in my music library.
Bullet For My Valentine usually works best. Or Metallica. Or Escape the Fate. Or any screamo. But it all depends on my mood. Instrumentals are good too, especially Metallica ones.
#20
I attempt to, but I get really agitated , turn it off and realise how much easier it is... then stop 5 minutes later and watch tv, I'll be failing my Highers

Sometimes. At times, it helps me think, at others it just makes me have a mental block and I can barely put pen to paper. I usually listen to classical when I do, but I do sometimes listen to metal/hard rock.
#33
Actually, and post-rock or post-metal works really well for my concentration.

Godspeed You, Black Emperor! is one of my favorites.
#34
I can't study WITHOUT music. Some of my favourites include;

Bulls on parade
hold The Line
Midnight
All Along the watchtower
Fire and Ice
Selkies: the endless obsession

just overall epic songs

those are probably my favorites to study to
