i have 3 speakers I want to use for a cab.

1 is 4ohm
2 are 8ohm

if I wire the 2 8ohm speakers parallel to get 4ohms - then I connect that in series with the 4ohm speaker, in theory I should get 8ohms right?

I just can't see the configuration and how it would work as far as wiring........

anybody got (or want to draw up) a diagram of how this would be configured?

I know its a weird configuration, but I'm trying to use what I already have. (btw, I have 2 of the 4ohm speakers - but they are both 10". The 2 8ohm speakers are 12")

It looks like yr 4ohm is in parallel with your left 8ohm. You need the 8ohms to join at the same point then from + or - to 4 ohm then the two spare leads to amp.

Paint on a laptop = not for winners...

Hope that helps (and is what you were after!)
