I just bought a Martin DM the other day. The guy at the store tried to talk to be about a humidifier, but i didnt feel like buying it until i knew if i needed it or not. Do I? I live in Georgia which isn't really that dry

I live in the Northeast and don't use a humidifier. I probably should this Winter, but that's just how it gets up here. They aren't too much money, It might be wise just to invest in one just because it's a Martin- and I'm sure you spent a lot of money on it and don't want to risk anything happening

Even if it is dry, I would still buy one. They work wonders.

All you need to know about humidifiers.

Even if it doesn't seem dry, if you turn on the heater at all, you'll need it.
