Stacking two 2x12s on top of each other i imagine is fine, how about if the bottom cab has angled up speakers (for better projection), will that cause a sound 'clash' with the top cab? or will it make no difference and be good to use?

just put the slant cab on the top (like a 4x12 slantface cab) and it'll work, but honestly, if you're worried about nodal points, it's not gonna make a difference because of the complexity of the frequencies coming from the speakers. do as you please

why thankyou very much , i thought id angle the speakers up to be on the bottom, seeing as the top cab is already raised lol, but if it aint gunna 'mesh' then effin-a.

right on

little side note: Depending on where you're playing, casters (wheels) on the bottom cab will help your tone in rooms with cement floors (project the sound a little higher) and no wheels on hollow floors / stages will allow the sound to reverberate through the floor for a fatter bass sound... just another option for the cab combo :P
