hey guys, my rhythm guitarist needs an amp. because the one he has is some off brand thing that sounds worse than the son of a spider III and an mg morphed together in some hellish nightmare.

he has $700 aus. to spend.

this amp needs to be loud enough for small gigs, and quiet enough for home practice.

we play anything from heavy blues-rock to some metallica-ish stuff

either/or, preferedly a tube amp, but if you can find a decent ss amp that would be fine. i just want it to have more than a volume control for a tube amp
