I am a beginer guitar god, as in god i still suck, but a god none the less. OK, i have a jasmine acoustic $100 max, best money iv'e ever spent not the guitar but i can't put it down. My question is, is a guitar of better quality more playable my bar chords buzzzz and twang, if it were my car it would be in the shop. I do take some of the blame. lookin to upgrade around $300 someday so any suggestion i would appreciate it. Acoustic/electric this time because i dont like my neighbors

The answer to the question is yes, a better quality guitar will play better and not buzz so much. You get what you pay for essentially, and If you're not paying a lot, then you won't get a lot.
Also try looking at maybe some Takamines or something like that.

Thanks for the reply, i will try out your suggestion, i figure it can only sound better. Oddly enough i feel like a trader to my $100 box with strings but all good things must come to an end.

Nah, it happens. Besides, you'll still use it. It's your first guitar. No matter how much it sucks, you'll still love it because it was your first.
And Takamines sound awesome. And you can find them for relatively cheap as well

Also, Alvarez makes very high quality guitars as well

They aren't acoustic-electrics, but they're beautiful sounding instruments

Do the notes buzz when you press them one by one? If so, it's the guitar. If not, it's you. The guitar might not be helping, but yes--your bars are going to buzz until you build up the finger strength.

Ya the buzzing is part me i'm sure. It does seem that seem to by less noticable the higher on the neck which by sight appears to have less distance to make contact. I put the kunfu-grip on it but then when i change notes the scaping sound is louder than my playing, kinda like a cat stuck in a bag. I see others play and they don't appear to be puttin the wrench to it. Gonna try some at the local GC. This is my first post thank you for the comments, you rock.

If you're considering a new acoustic guitar, give this one a shot.
