I need to make a quick 2 minutes 'slideshow' of pictures over music. Problem is, Windows Movie Maker keeps crashing on me when I put more than 6 pictures in. Odd. Anyway, can you guys please suggest some alternatives to this that are free?

If it's a slideshow try Microsoft Powerpoint

I can't have stuff with watermarks.

Download the Premiere demo, and also vdubmod and AviSynth (both free iirc). Create your video in Premiere, then use AviSynth to switch the footage encoded with a low quality/watermarked codec for the desired parts of the original footage

Guide on how to use AviSynth here: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/avtechbeta/amvappavisynth.html
